Who books this trip
Who rides this corridor
Resort & Montecito stays
Direct drop-off at the Rosewood Miramar, Four Seasons Biltmore, El Encanto, San Ysidro Ranch and private Montecito addresses — luggage to the door, no rental-car counter between you and check-in.
Working travel
Two quiet, connected hours instead of a fragmented travel day: many clients treat the 101 run as their first work block after landing.
Families & UCSB
Move-in weekends, campus visits and family trips to Goleta ride better in one vehicle with everyone's luggage — child seats arranged at booking.
Groups & celebrations
Weddings, wine weekends and reunions use the Sprinter so the whole party travels together and nobody drives home from the tasting room.
Pickup, step by step
From jet bridge to State Street
Your flight is tracked from wheels-up
The pickup follows your actual arrival, not the schedule. Delays and early landings adjust the reservation automatically.
Terminal pickup, luggage handled
Your chauffeur coordinates the meet at your terminal's arrivals level and loads everything — beach gear, golf bags, wine cases on the way home. In-terminal meet-and-greet can be arranged when you book.
One driver, one car, the whole way
No LAX FlyAway-plus-train relay, no shuttle stops in Ventura. The same chauffeur takes you the full 95 miles.
Planned stops if you want them
A coffee in Camarillo, lunch in Ventura or a market stop before a Montecito house stay — tell us at booking and the itinerary is built around it.

Route guidance
The 101 run, planned properly
The corridor: from LAX the run goes north on the 405 over the Sepulveda Pass, west on the 101 through the Conejo Valley, then down the Camarillo grade to the coast — the final stretch past Ventura and Carpinteria hugs the ocean into Santa Barbara. It's roughly 95 miles, and the coastal half is genuinely one of California's great drives.
Timing windows matter on this one. A clear evening run goes about 1 hour 50 minutes door-to-door. Friday afternoons northbound and Sunday evenings southbound carry the heaviest coast traffic and can push past 2 hours 30. Your chauffeur watches live conditions and, when the 405 argues, routes via PCH through Malibu to join the 101 at Oxnard — slightly longer on paper, often faster in practice, always prettier.
Where we drop: downtown and the Funk Zone, the Montecito estates and resorts, Hope Ranch, Goleta and UCSB — and the Bacara/Ritz-Carlton side of the Gaviota coast on request when you book. Flying out of Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) later? The reverse leg can be scheduled to SBA or back to LAX, whichever your ticket says.
Versus the train: the Amtrak Surfliner is a lovely ride, but it leaves from Union Station — the "train option" from LAX is really three legs and 4–5 hours with luggage in tow. The private run is one vehicle and about two hours.
