Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026 · Last Updated: May 26, 2026
Beverly Hills Lux Ride is a brand of Lux4Rides ("Lux4Rides," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have as a U.S. resident — including additional rights for California residents under the CCPA/CPRA.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through:

  • Our websites, including beverlyhillsluxride.com and lux4rides.com (collectively, the "Sites");
  • Phone calls, SMS, email, and chat with our concierge or dispatch team;
  • Reservations placed online, by phone, by text, or through our concierge;
  • Interactions with our social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp).

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

2. Who We Are & How to Reach Us

Beverly Hills Lux Ride, a Lux4Rides brand, is the business responsible for the personal information collected through our Sites and services.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to safely fulfill your reservation and run our business. The categories below align with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Identifiers & Contact Information: first name, last name, phone number, email address, company name (if booking for business).
  • Trip Details: pickup address, drop-off address, date and time, flight or airline information, passenger count, child-seat needs, accessibility requests, and other special instructions you choose to share.
  • Payment Information: credit or debit card details are entered into and processed by a PCI-DSS certified payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Square, or Braintree). We do not store full card numbers on our servers — we only retain the last 4 digits, card brand, and expiration for receipt and chargeback purposes.
  • Communications: the content of emails, texts, voicemails, and chat messages you send us, including ratings or feedback about a trip.
  • Optional Verification Documents: for certain high-value or international bookings we may request a redacted ID or card image for fraud verification. You should black out any information not required for the check.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Internet Activity / Device Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, date and time of visit, approximate location derived from IP, and clickstream behavior.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: small text files and pixels used for site functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) advertising. See Section 7.

3.3 Information From Other Sources

  • Referrals & Partners: hotels, concierges, travel agents, FBO/private aviation operators, or corporate clients who book on your behalf and provide your contact and trip details.
  • Public sources: publicly available business contact information when you reach out from a corporate account.

Sensitive personal information. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs (except limited fraud verification described above), precise geolocation, or other categories of "sensitive personal information" under CCPA as a normal part of doing business. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics about you.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To confirm, dispatch, and fulfill your reservation, including providing trip details to your chauffeur;
  • To communicate with you about your trip (confirmations, driver and vehicle info, ETAs, changes);
  • To process payments, send receipts, and handle disputes, refunds, or chargebacks;
  • To verify identity and prevent fraud, unauthorized card use, or abuse of our services;
  • To respond to your inquiries, complaints, or feedback;
  • To send service messages and — only where you have not opted out — occasional offers, promotions, or newsletters from Beverly Hills Lux Ride or Lux4Rides;
  • To improve our website, fleet operations, routing, and concierge experience;
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, transportation regulations, lawful requests from authorities);
  • To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of passengers, drivers, employees, or the public.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We share information only as described below:

  • Our chauffeurs and dispatch team: only the trip details (name, phone, pickup/drop-off, flight, special requests) needed to complete your ride safely.
  • Affiliated operators & partner fleets: when a partner fleet fulfills the ride (for example, during high-demand events or in cities we serve through partners), we share the minimum trip information required.
  • Payment processors: Stripe, Square, Braintree, or equivalent PCI-DSS certified providers who process your payment on our behalf.
  • Service providers (data processors): hosting, email delivery, customer support, SMS gateways, analytics (Google Analytics), Google Search Console, and fraud-prevention vendors. These vendors are contractually limited to using your information only to perform services for us.
  • Corporate or referring clients: if a company, hotel, travel agent, or concierge booked the ride on your behalf, we may share trip status, receipts, and confirmations with that booking party.
  • Legal, safety & compliance: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the safety of passengers, drivers, employees, or the public, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the new owner, subject to this Privacy Policy.

6. Payment & Fraud Prevention

All bookings can be paid by credit or debit card via a PCI-DSS certified processor. We do not see or store your full card number — only a tokenized reference, the last 4 digits, card brand, and expiration so we can recognize the card, issue receipts, and process authorized recurring trips.

To prevent unauthorized use of payment instruments, we may share your IP address, email, billing details, and card metadata with fraud-prevention vendors. For certain reservations we may request a redacted copy of an ID or the front of the card (with the middle digits blacked out) to confirm the cardholder. If we cannot verify a transaction, we may decline or cancel the booking; you can always contact us at vip@lux4rides.com to discuss.

7. Cookies, Analytics & Online Advertising

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and (where permitted) support our marketing. The main categories are:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the site, booking flow, and security to function.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Search Console help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
  • Marketing / Advertising: we may use pixels from advertising platforms (such as Google Ads or Meta) to measure the performance of ads and reach prospective clients. These are only set where applicable law allows.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Most of the site, including booking, will continue to work. California residents and residents of other states with similar laws may opt out of targeted advertising as described in Section 9. We honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required.

8. Communications & Marketing Choices

  • Email: every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email vip@lux4rides.com with the subject "Unsubscribe."
  • SMS: reply STOP to any non-transactional message to opt out. Standard message and data rates may apply.
  • Service messages: trip confirmations, driver ETAs, receipts, and dispatch updates are part of the service and cannot be turned off while a trip is active.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Know / Access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we have shared it with.
  • Right to Delete: request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, detecting fraud, complying with a legal obligation).
  • Right to Correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. There is therefore no sale or share to opt out of, but you may still submit a request.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
  • Authorized Agent: you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity.

How to submit a request: email vip@lux4rides.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you wish to exercise. We will verify your identity (typically by confirming details associated with a recent reservation) and respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension where allowed by law.

9.2 Residents of Other U.S. States

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising or sales. To exercise any such right, contact us using the methods above.

9.3 Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing vip@lux4rides.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal."

10. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, and the use of PCI-DSS certified processors for card data. No system is 100% secure. Never send full card numbers, passwords, or government ID details to us by unencrypted email.

11. Data Retention

We retain trip records, invoices, and tax-related information for as long as required by federal, state, and local tax and transportation regulations (typically up to 7 years). Account and contact information is retained while your relationship with us is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with the law. Log and analytics data are retained in a shorter window and then deleted or anonymized.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at vip@lux4rides.com and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Sites may link to third-party websites, social media profiles, or booking partners. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not ours. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site.

14. International Visitors

Beverly Hills Lux Ride operates in the United States and our servers are located in the United States. If you access our Sites from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be announced on the Sites or by email where appropriate. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

16. Contact Us

Questions, requests, or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our handling of your information:

Beverly Hills Lux Ride is an online-only booking service; under California Civil Code § 1798.130 and 11 CCR § 7026, we provide two designated methods (email and toll telephone) for submitting consumer privacy requests, which is sufficient for businesses that operate exclusively online with a direct relationship with consumers.
