Porte-cochère drop-offs: the small logistics that matter
The porte-cochère is the whole point of arriving by private car. Every major Strip property maintains a covered valet drive where chauffeured vehicles pull directly to the entrance. No self-park elevator, no rideshare staging lot at the back of the property, no luggage dragged across a casino floor from the wrong entrance.
Big properties have more than one entrance — and that\'s an advantage. The Venetian and Palazzo, Caesars, MGM Grand and the other mega-resorts each have secondary entrances that are dramatically quieter at check-in rush. Your chauffeur will use the smartest one for your tower unless you prefer the front-door arrival.

Beyond the hotels
Venues, the convention campus and the neighborhoods
Event venues run event-day rules. Allegiant Stadium, Sphere and T-Mobile Arena publish per-event access, road-closure and drop-off plans, and law enforcement adjusts them live. The Convention Center campus is its own animal. Show-specific traffic programs, satellite lots and shuttle loops change per show; for the biggest weeks the smart drop is often your convention hotel rather than the hall itself. Downtown, Henderson and Summerlin are straightforward. Fremont Street hotels use their own drives; residential drop-offs in Henderson and Summerlin work like any door-to-door drop, gate codes handled at booking.
